US Ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, left no doubt that Washington had given up trying to work with the UN Security Council over a possible military attack on Syria.
She said there was "no viable path forward in this Security Council" and accused Russia of holding it hostage.
Moscow has signalled it would veto any resolution on the use of force unless Washington produced stronger proof.

I underlined. Yes unsc a hostage of Russia, sadly, what else can do the powerless body? Nothing unless it is a free! You know when a spy trained under old cold war, they can not get out from their dark mind set to a sunny side face, they afraid of sunny side, they only have vision dark side. Human are just a mere tools for their power, they are must ruled not respected. I think world international community dismantlement of the "permanent 5 privilege" if they can. Surely they can do that?
