The United States could make a decision as early as this week on whether to arm Syrian rebels, U.S. officials said on Monday, as U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry put off a Middle East trip to attend meetings on the subject.

However, the U.S. government has debated for months whether to provide weaponry to the rebels in their civil war against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's forces and has so far decided against.

One U.S. official who spoke on condition of anonymity stressed that while a decision on whether to start arming the rebels is possible as soon as this week, deliberations on the issue could easily take longer.

The new of  US’s consideration of arming the rebels last less than 24 hours,  subtle news interviews release from Lebanon and Russia, they are saying that 1) Hezbollah will not invaded to Syria anymore,  their Qusayr invaded was serous mistakes…, but Hezbollah still inside Syria. 2) Russia is not supply arm criminal Assad, they spoke Hezbollah, they know that Hezbollah not invade Syrian unless Syrian sovereignty is threatened( well yes, in Qusayr,  Hezbollah invaded and carried sectarian cleansing Syrian people) its against Syria sectarian. Also few days back  German FM met with his Russian counterpart and after the meeting he spoke to media that arming the Rebel is not good ideas.  This is after Qusayr falls and there has been rumor around criminal Assad and Hezbollah immediate attack Aleppo or Homs…  and same time US, UK and France urgent calling for arming the Rebels. This is another tricks of smoothing  song sheet  by criminal Assad, Russia sings song, hoping US et al may withdrew the idea of arming the rebels.  Please US et al  should not  be deceived or manipulated  by this criminal Assad tricks.   Arming the FSA Revolutionary is the best solution in this messy problems.

Today again the al Qaeda leader, ancient man from caveman’s’ ideas  hardly any ordinary person think of he is a trend setter of ideas of modernity, as he is saying that:  united Islam rebel on the ground and fighting defeat to Assad regime and make Syria Islamic states and united against Zionist  state Israel.  Well this says all, anyone can see where he is coming from, he is coming from criminal Assad side again. Some part of  town of Qusayr fell to government forces on Wednesday, but before it did, rebel media activists there posted one last video that showed hundreds of injured people, mostly civilians, trapped in a dim, makeshift clinic.

That explained the sudden fall of Qusair, he said. During the course of the intense fighting, the rebels’ ammunition cache had dwindled and few reinforcements arrived.

“Even without ammunition, though, they would have stayed and fought with the ammunition of the enemy,” Harba said of the rebels. “But there is no food. There have been eight days without food, nothing. They aren't able to stand on their feet. They wish for just a piece of bread."

Desperate scenes at Qusayr makeshift clinic

A doctor in Qusayr told Al Jazeera there were now more than 1,000 injured people in the town and conditions were becoming increasingly dire.

Kassem Al Zein, who coordinates treatment in several makeshift hospitals, said the wounded were being treated in private homes after the town's main hospital was destroyed.

"Four days ago, some of the injured were taken outside the city but they were hit by the forces of the regime. Some of the injured returned back to us with more injuries," he said.

"It is a serious catastrophe. The martyrs are more than 200. We have no time to bury them. Some stayed for days in the streets. The smell of death is all over the place, it is not human.

Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblat slammed on Monday Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah's description of Syria's war as a “fight against Takfiris,” accusing the Syrian regime of hiding behind the Islamist jihadist al-Nusra Front to conduct attacks in Iraq and Lebanon.

"President Bashar Assad's regime executed terrorist attacks in many locations, in Iraq for example, by claiming it was fighting occupation and it also released many al-Nusra members from jails upon the eruption of the Syrian revolution,” Jumblat stated in his weekly editorial in the PSP-affiliated al-Anbaa website.

"This reminds us of what happened with Shaker al-Absi and Fatah al Islam.”Jumblat said that as a result of the “desperation created because of the international community's passiveness towards the crisis in Syria, many rebels might have joined the Front.”"To a part of the revolutionaries, the Front has become the main resistance against the regime,” he pointed out. 

"There is no doubt that the confusion created by suggesting it is either the regime or al-Nusra Front delays the consolidation between the opposition's groups and prolongs the regime's reign.”  Read more

Al Qaeda's declaration( Al Nusra was not consulted this) its alliance with Al Nusra, it  gives a compelling leverage to criminal assad, immensely setback for  the FSA revolutionary, that not only gives Assad  attacking lebelling the Revolutionery as  "terrorists, hunting terrorists, sadistic attacking, evoking sectarian genocide"  but also it gives excuse to west and US, put themselves, delay or not arming FSA revolutionary, just in case the lethal arms end up " al Qaeda", in my view al Qaeda associate with criminal assad more closely  than the Revolution. Al Qaeda point of view nothing to lose either sided with the Opposition or sided criminal Assad. Yes there is some FSA people went to- without knowing - al Nusra's unsavory association because of its resources, these  Syrian people will come back to FSA control when they have enough resources and weapon. Russia has blocked a draft United Nations Security Council declaration on the situation in the besieged Syrian town of Qusayr, diplomats said on Sunday.

The text, proposed by Britain on Saturday, expressed the council's "grave concern" about the fate of civilians trapped in the strategically important town in central Homs province, where regime forces backed by Lebanon's Hezbollah militant group began an assault two weeks ago.

It called "upon the Syrian government to allow immediate, full and unimpeded access to impartial humanitarian actors, including UN agencies" to reach civilians.

The 15 members of the council also "strongly call upon all sides to do their utmost to avoid civilian casualties and for the Syrian government to exercise its responsibility to protect civilians," it said.

Russia, a key ally of Syria, demanded a "wider political discussion" on the proposal, according to one UN diplomat. "I think the text is dead," said another diplomat, adding that Moscow indicated the Security Council did not protest when the rebels seized Qusayr, and that therefore there was no reason to do so now.

A UN diplomat says Russia has blocked a Security Council declaration that would have criticized the Syrian regime's offensive against the rebel-held town of Qusair.

The Security Council diplomat says Russia blocked the declaration because the council made no statement when rebels seized the town. The diplomat spoke on condition of anonymity because the discussions Saturday were private.

Qusair has become a flashpoint in Syria's civil war, with the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah joining the regime's offensive.

Maliki wastes Iraq’s money in Syria and Iran

Iran is economically besieged because of its nuclear program; it can only sell a small part of its oil, and cannot trade with many countries of the world. It cannot even transfer dollars because of the U.S. sanctions. Maliki is now offering his services for free, spending billions of dollars from Iraqi people’s money on Iranian political projects. Iranian bills are sent to Maliki to finance Hezbollah and Hamas and he has also offered a $3 billion to Egyptian President Mohammed Mursi without interest, while Qatar had offered a similar sum but with a high interest.

Maliki made a generous deal with Moscow to buy arms and finance Assad’s regime with what he needs, from money to ammunition. He has even taken care of his external expenditure, supplying him with fuel for the past two years. This is why the regime’s military vehicles are still functional even though the Syrian refineries have stopped working.

The problem is not just deprivation and poverty, but it has to do with the instability that he engendered. …He has not granted the Iraqis any security, peace or development, but rather he has opened doors to personal fights against Sunni leaders ….Now, he launches a new fight to support the drowning regime in Syria. Last week, the world was surprised to see Maliki sending 20,000 fighters to the border with Syria under the pretext of “fighting al-Qaeda.” In fact there is no al-Qaeda, he is afraid of Syrian rebels, so he started “liberating” villages that Assad’s regime had lost, trying to open up the seized crossings and move on to a new war!

History will record that, in the 21st century, where the world has become a global village, a complete nation was treated inhumanly, tortured, displaced, people killed by a regime that has committed crimes against humanity, and all the free world turned its face away, leaving tens of millions face their miserable fate for a continuous period of 26 months, and still counting..... Iran cuts Hamas funding over Syria

Iran has cut up to £15 million a month in funding for Hamas as punishment for the movement's backing for the uprising in Syria, the Palestinian Islamist group's leaders have admitted.

The two former close allies have also ceased military cooperation, effectively ending a warm relationship that saw Tehran provide weapons, technical know-how and military training to Hamas fighters.

The rupture has been caused by Hamas's refusal to toe the Iranian line by supporting President Bashar al-Assad, whose Alawite regime is religiously loosely related to the Shia Islam practiced by Iran's ruling theocracy.
