Russia: We cannot accept US proofs of chemical weapon used in Syria, they are far from being convincing. It is impossible to say that very many states support the idea of a military operation. 

China: War cannot solve the problem in Syria, political solution is the only way to end the Syria crisis. 

UK: We have received new evidence that sarin gas had been used against civilians by the Syrian government. 

EU: No military solution to the Syrian conflict.  

UN Chief: Providing more arms to either side is not the answer. There is no military solution.

All the above statements are baseless powerless and none creditable for eyes of the world! Just another feeble tasteless doggerels  An accomplice Russia is merchandising from Syrian people blood and soul! Why can’t you all  stop Russia suck Syrian people blood for its nourishment? That is simple way solving problem!  unsc is Putin’s little  ego gaming machine, is spined by Syrian people’s immense  suffering! US Ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, left no doubt that Washington had given up trying to work with the UN Security Council over a possible military attack on Syria. 

She said there was "no viable path forward in this Security Council" and accused Russia of holding it hostage.

John Boehner, the top Republican in the US House of Representatives, has rejected a request to meet a Russian delegation to discuss Syria, his spokesman said on Wednesday.

The initiative appears aimed at persuading US lawmakers to vote down President Barack Obama's call to support limited military strikes in Syria in the wake of an alleged deadly sarin gas attack in a Damascus suburb on August 21. 

"The Speaker has declined the Russian embassy's request that he meet with a delegation," Michael Steel, Boehner's spokesman, told AFP.

Hashemi Rafsanjani, the former Iranian president, was quoted by official Iranian channels yesterday as saying "a government that uses chemical bombs against its people will face hard consequences, just like Saddam, who earned eternal shame in the bombing of Halabja and suffered such a horrible fate."

The Iranian FARS news agency reported, but later amended the comments, shifting the comments away from blame.

However, reports by the Iran Pulse blog state that he made similar comments today, and a youtube videohas been uploaded of the audio. Sadly I don't have a word of farsi but the Pulse blog deconstructs it.

I probably don't need to mention that Iran is Syria's closest ally. Hassan Hassan, a very respected Middle East journalist, tweets it is "huge", although others wonder if Rafsanjani has much pull these days among the ayatollahs.

We also know that after it took place, they acknowledged that they had done it and were worried about the consequences and whether the UN inspectors were going to find out.

Kerry said:

U.S. President Barack Obama on Saturday said he had decided the United States should strike Syrian government targets in response to a chemical weapons attack outside Damascus, but he would seek a congressional vote. The following is the full text of his remarks in the White House Rose Garden:

German Lash Out Russia and China Vetos

Angel Merkel, the German chancellor, has hit out at Russia and China over their stance in the Syrian crisis, saying in an interview published on Saturday that their action weakened the United Nations. 

"It is very regrettable that Russia and China have refused for some time to come to a common position [with Western partners] on the Syrian conflict. This considerably weakens the role of the United Nations," she said in an interview with regional daily Augsburger Allgemeine. 

Russia and China have vetoed three resolutions that would increase pressure on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad since the start of the conflict in March 2011. 

The two countries are also against a current push by the three Western permanent members of the Security Council - the United States, Britain and France - for a resolution that would allow military action against Syria over a chemical weapons attack which the West blames on the regime and the regime blames on the rebels. 

In a separate interview to be published on Sunday in Welt am Sonntag weekly, Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle urged Russia to reconsider its stance. 

"Those who look away despite the use of chemical weapons ... encourage their use. That is why we are calling on Russia to send a signal along with the international community," he said. 

Merkel reiterated that the use of chemical weapons in Syria had "broken a taboo" which "cannot remain without consequence"

International community should speak out  Russia and China vetos re: Syrian issue, the world  should not silence this unforgivable criminal Assad gases thousand of Syrian people. On August 21, a Syrian regime element prepared for a chemical weapons attack in the Damascus area, including through the utilization of gas masks. Our intelligence sources in the Damascus area did not detect any indications in the days prior to the attack that opposition affiliates were planning to use chemical weapons. 

The Attack:

Multiple streams of intelligence indicate that the regime executed a rocket and artillery attack against the Damascus suburbs in the early hours of August 21. Satellite detections corroborate hat attacks from a regime-controlled area struck neighborhoods where the chemical attacks reportedly occurred – including Kafr Batna, Jawbar, ‘Ayn Tarma, Darayya, and Mu’addamiyah.This includes the detection of rocket launches from regime controlled territory early in the morning, approximately 90 minutes before the first report of a chemical attack appeared in social media. The lack of flight activity or missile launches also leads us to conclude that the regime used rockets in the attack.

Local social media reports of a chemical attack in the Damascus suburbs began at 2:30 a.m. local time on August 21. Within the next four hours there were thousands of social media reports on this attack from at least 12 different locations in the Damascus area. Multiple accounts described chemical-filled rockets impacting opposition-controlled areas. 

Three hospitals in the Damascus area received approximately 3,600 patients displaying symptoms consistent with nerve agent exposure in less than three hours on the morning of August 21, according to a highly credible international humanitarian organization. The reported symptoms, and the epidemiological pattern of events – characterized by the massive influx of patients in a short period of time, the origin of the patients, and the contamination of medical and first aid workers – were consistent with mass exposure to a nerve agent. We also received reports from international and Syrian medical personnel on the ground

So Assad see his stockpile of chemical weapon as ultimate asset for this conflict, wherever he is losing  he used them for fighting off the opposition for his gain. Russia knows it and telling him " ...don't be caught as long as you covering up..rest I stand up for you..."  it is well used well practiced here and there. UK Prime Minister David Cameron has just tweeted that Britain has drafted a resolution condemning the alleged chemical weapons attacks by the Assad government, to be placed before the UN Security Council's five permanent members for debate this evening. 

"We've always said we want the UN Security Council to live up to its responsibilities on Syria. Today they have an opportunity to do that," he said.

Le Monde newspaper has published a report by their special correspondent Jean-Philippe Remy which indicates that chemical weapons have been used by President Bashar al-Assad's regime in a number of places across Syria.
The newspaper states: 

A chemical attack on the Jobar front, on the outskirts of the Syrian capital, doesn't look like anything much at first. It's not spectacular. Above all, it's not detectable. And that's the aim: by the time the rebel fighters of the Free Syrian Army who have penetrated furthest into Damascus understand that they've been exposed to chemical products by government forces, it's too late. No matter which type of gas is used, it has already produced its effects, only a few hundred meters from residential areas of the Syrian capital ...

No odor, no smoke, not even a whistle to indicate the release of a toxic gas. And then the symptoms appear. The men cough violently. Their eyes burn, their pupils shrink, their vision blurs. Soon they experience difficulty breathing, sometimes in the extreme; they begin to vomit or lose consciousness. The fighters worst affected need to be evacuated before they suffocate.

President Francois Hollande said that France stood ready to punish the perpetrators of a chemical attack in Damascus last week and would increase its military support to the Syrian opposition.

France is ready to punish those who took the decision to gas the innocent," Hollande told an annual meeting in Paris of dozens of French ambassadors posted around the world.

Hollande said it seemed certain that forces loyal to Bashar al-Assad were behind the chemical attack - which is believed to have killed hundreds of civilians - and said it was the outside world's responsibility to respond.

Criminal Assad is losing Damascus, he has no capability wining the conflict and he desperate after his assassinated attempt early August. President Obama very cautious what he has been saying about Assad gassed thousand of people last few days. The danger of Intentional international communities’ not action, after this grave event, he will use it again, much much bigger scales, he will not stop, try to kneel the international community for bigger unimaginable scales, then you would know what is that means.  He couldn't careless about international community outrages, as long as Russia and Iran covering him up he think he can get away with it!
