Libya rebels ask Nato for help as Gaddafi forces bombard Misrata
• Humanitarian aid cannot reach city's harbour
• Evacuees and casualties stranded in the assaults

Reuters* A rebel spokesman complained that NATO forces, charged with protecting civilians caught up in the uprising against Gaddafi's rule, had failed to act in defense of Misrata.
