Daughters of Libya

A Gril with Libyan Flag

I sing as I have a voice
I lift my veil open my face
Smile to the world let them see who I am
I speak freedom as I was born
I weave countless hope to my future
I defend goodness that is my obligation
Pluck wisdom from my virgin soil
Many junctures where everything begins
Quest my love that is my endowment
All the bondages sorrows I discard
Remember them as my guidance to forward
To the sun let shine on my soil
To my breasts to my forehead
Tweak life from the skeletons
I am free as air wing of air
I the laurel
