Few of readers have been commenting on- endearing kind of ( sending cartoons et al)- re: Korean
(North and South) blustering foghorn colourful confrontational slaying match about I am bigger than you...No my missiles are bigger than yours....warmongerings et al. So responds I make few comments on few of Korean stereotypes:
2) Naturally
Korean are passionate or obsessive; no middle ground, black and white. Either they
hate you or love you. I have never seen anywhere how our village women fight each other for their lover vividly passionately with a great fierceness ...
3) Work
hard a great endurance fortitude staying power.
4) Obsession or passionate or worship about education- education is god, academic degree is magic potion(
thank you god this has been changing now, first time in the Korean history its awareness of merits talent are the King-God ).
5) Obsession
about wealth- your worth is barometer of how much you have money! Fair enough!
6) Obsession
about the other side greener - always look over what other have.
7) Face,
this is most hard thing you can imagine….
8) Revengeful,
never forget never forgive…etc…
I let you interpreter your own view of the characters, we were
brought up by the cultures with great intensity, we were taught our people North- North also same to South - our arch enemy, so we learnt how to hate our own people( North or South) passionately, so we hate each other passionately our own people that is a patriotism, one of most regrettable sadist thing. Sometimes so burdensome culture, with a great expectation I would say but that is why today is Korea too! Some good and some bad! But also slowly also change less and less they take themselves less seriously... still long way to go... it seems through, it is a growing up pain I suppose so...
