Libyan rebels near Ajdabiya 'killed in Nato air strike'
Is this true?
Libyan rebels regain ground near Brega
Relying on Libya

Some of these countries should obligated to protect oil field from Gaddafi destorying the oil field,  not only part of Nato but their own troops (ground) with negotiated with Libyan Republic and if LP agrees, that is everyone interests.
 Al Jazeera Live Blog

AFP - At least five opposition fighters killed in a NATO air raid in the eastern oil town of Brega.
"It was the planes of NATO. They fired twice at our tank and blew up the tank's position," said rebel fighter Ali Sahli.

Chaotic scenes were witnessed at a rebel checkpoint on the edge of Ajdabiya, about 80km from Brega, with ambulances racing through heading for the hospital followed by a convoy of rebel military vehicles.
Civilians were ordered away from the checkpoint.

To be frank,  Libyan Republic barter their oil, two edge sword honestly,  what option they have they have so blood shed, their 20,000  young people in Gaddafi shield and so many young people have been killed in battle field.  Some kind of deal with few countries exchange for their help for end this war and oil, this is a  survival, only you  have to obligates and owes the people who helps you when you  are in trouble.

This picture from NYT make broke my heart and smile too. This lovely smile should belong to a school yard instead a battle field, that is our responsibilities for sure!

Libya: NATO dismisses government allegations of air attack on oil fields

The UN Resoultion is

The NATO Chief said;

"Our goal is to protect civilians and civilian-populated areas under threat of attack from the Gadhafi regime," NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said. "NATO will implement all aspects of the U.N. resolution. Nothing more, nothing less.”

If my reading right the resolution is not covering up oil field so LP can be bit of creative in here how to prevent Gaddafi forces attacking the oil field

LP need to protect their oil field so, I think the countries want to buy oil from Libyan Republic they should send their own ground troops protect the oil field so that the LP should enter deals whoever send their ground troop to protect the oil field they. Or another way Nato ground troop...? protecting oil field not only Libyan interest but the world economy.

Here also Amorphous Group has an interesting post Re: Oil and the World Economy
